It is important that you maintain your vehicle with genuine Ford parts, fitted by factory trained technicians, to ensure your vehicle performs to the maximum of its capability. Many genuine Ford parts are now available cheaper from TP Topping than they would be at "specialist" and "fast fit" type servicing outlets.

| Child Safety Seats |
|

|
- All children under three years old must use an appropriate child restraint when travelling in a car.
- Children between three years and up to 12 years (or up to 135 cms, approximately 4'5" in height), must use a child restraint appropriate for their size when travelling in a car.
- Rear-facing baby seats must not be used in seats with an active front air-bag.
- All child restraints must conform to modern safety standards, meaning UN-ECE Regulation 44.04 from May 2008.

| Information about ISOFIX |
|

Whilst child seats can be fitted in many vehicles, ISOFIX (International Standards Organisation fix) is a standard system for attaching child seats safely into cars, which was established in 1990. It sets some simple, standard goals for its usage:
- Provides a standard, universal means of attaching child restraints
- Eliminates misfitting of current child seats
- Improves the safety performance of a child restraint
